Legend has it that the 'Sbagliato,' which means 'mistake' in Italian, was created by a bartender who, distracted by an attractive patron, reached for a bottle prosecco instead of gin, while preparing a negroni. They are delicious, especially when prepared by Tia, a talented local bartender. Legend has it that Tia also makes the best negronis in town.

1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth
1 1/2 ounce Campari
1 1/2 ounce Prosecco or other sparkling wine
1 orange peel twist
It can be served on the rocks or strained into a Champagne flute.
